Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include daily invoicing, processing, monitoring, applying incoming payments, generating monthly customer statements, collection efforts, support month end activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts and incoming payments with accuracy
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
  • Prepare invoices and spredsheets
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Verify discrepancies by research and critical thinking and resolve clients’ invoicing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending invoice reminders and contacting customers

Skills:

  • Proven working experience as accounts receivable specialist, or accountant
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (Syteline experience big plus!)
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail skills

Design Drafter

Prime Tech Cabinets, is looking to hire a Cabinet Designer/Drafter with potential to grow. We are a family owned business with many years of success and we are growing at a rapid rate. If you have experience as a drafter and are ready to join our growing team, this may be the position for you.

Primary duties of this role will focus on being coached and mentored on generation of layout and detail drawings using Cabinet Vision and other software systems. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist, Create and Modify diagrams, work instructions, and drawings in Cabinet Vision
  • Assist Sr. Drafter on completing other internal documents and other related duties preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team
  • Update and maintain all listing files, reference materials, and samples
  • Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings
  • Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with computer software systems
  • Performing cut-list for shop and calculations for materials
  • Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings
  • Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations
  • Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience designing systems for industrial and commercial use
  • Minimum 1 year of experience and knowledge specifically of cabinet design
  • MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR of CABINET VISION SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
  • Knowledge of material and machinery tooling
  • Knowledge of construction housing building regulations and accessibility codes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, Google Suites and basic office equipment
  • Well-developed communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Ability to draw manually is favorable, but not essential
  • Ability to work well in a team and on your own
  • Ability to respond well to evaluation and maintain a positive attitude
  • Applicants with screen to machine experience preferred
  • Pay is depending on experience. ($20-$25/hour)

Skilled Carpenter

Prime Tech Cabinets, is looking to hire a Full Time Carpenter for our custom department. We are a family owned business with many years of success and we are growing at a rapid rate. If you have experience as a carpenter and are ready to join our growing team, this may be the position for you.

The main function of this role will be to follow plans and build custom cabinets for our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut and shape wood
  • Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Building, installing and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture and cabinets using different types of materials including wood and particle board
  • Use variety of tools such as squares, levels, chisels, circular saws, nail guns, welding machines and other equipment
  • Ensure precise completion of product

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Physical stamina to be able to lift heavy tools/objects, ability to stand for long periods, climb, bend, push/pull large or heavy objects
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Problem solving skills
  • Basic math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate square footage, etc
  • Minimum of 2 year experience as a carpenter or in the woodworking industry (4 years preferred)
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be a motivated team player who is ready to work

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is not required, but helpful

General Laborer – Manufacturing

We are seeking individuals interested in working in the cabinet industry.

The main function of this role will be to support our labor force in one of the following departments: Mill, Assembly, Hinge, Sanding, or other.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Under the general direction of our department supervisors and plant managers, you will be responsible for completing your assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • All safety protocols must be followed at all times
  • We are looking for a team player who is ready to join a growing, diverse team

Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for a period of 6 – 8 hours.
    Ability to lift from 50 lbs. (Over 50 lbs. with co-worker)
  • Able to climb stairs
  • Must be flexible with overtime and weekend work
  • Woodworking or cabinetry experience is a plus
  • Able to work from 5:30 am to 2:00 p.m. in Santa Ana
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Positive attitude
  • Accountable/Takes pride in their work
  • Must be reliable and professional

Job Type: 

  • Full-time
  • Our mill workers start at 5:30am and finish at 2:00pm Monday through Friday
  • Occasionally there is overtime available for either an extra hour in the day or on Saturdays
  • Pay is $14-$16/hour, depending on experience

Delivery Driver – Loader/Unloader

The main function of this role will be to ensure proper loading of our box trucks based on Loading Procedures, then delivering items to the Customer Job site and unloading them.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help load and unload truck for deliveries
  • Read plans and inventory sheets to determine what is needed and ensure everything is loaded prior to leaving our facility
  • Identify any special shipping/transit requirements such as use of cleats, ropes, tie-downs, etc
  • Follow directions to drive box truck to job site
  • Complete required paperwork for each delivery

Requirements:

  • Must have a Driver’s License (Class C) and clean driving record
  • Minimum of 2 year experience as a delivery driver
  • Must be able to operate 16’ box truck safely and comfortably
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be a motivated team player who is ready to work
  • Positive attitude
  • Accountable/Takes pride in their work
  • Must be reliable and professional
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is not required, but helpful
  • Pay is depending on experience. ($15-$16/hour)

Driver’s Assistant – Loader/Unloader

The main function of this role will be to ensure proper loading of cabinets onto our box trucks based on Loading Procedures, then riding with the driver to the Job site and unloading them.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help load and unload truck for deliveries
  • Read plans and inventory sheets to determine what is needed and ensure everything is loaded prior to leaving our facility
  • Identify any special shipping/transit requirements such as use of cleats, ropes, tie-downs, etc
  • Ride in the truck to the required job site (anywhere from San Diego to Santa Barbara)
  • Assist with any required paperwork for each delivery

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a loader/unloader
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Must be a motivated team player who is ready to work
  • Positive attitude
  • Accountable/Takes pride in their work
  • Must be reliable and professional
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is not required, but helpful
  • Pay is depending on experience. ($14-$15/hour)
